I Salmi Spiegati

I’ve been using this as my morning prayer companion, and the way each psalm is broken down with both the historical background and spiritual meaning really helps me connect with the text. The explanations for Psalm 51 made me appreciate the penitential aspect in a whole new light.

I’ve been using this during my morning prayer time, and the way each psalm’s spiritual meaning is broken down makes it feel like a personal guide rather than a textbook. The historical context for every one of the 150 is clear without being dry, which is exactly what I needed.

The historical background for each psalm finally makes the spiritual meaning click—I've been reading one a night and it's completely changed my prayer time. Each explanation is short enough to stay focused but deep enough to actually learn something. This is the commentary I've been searching for.
