詩篇

My kids actually sit still for this one. The way each psalm is broken down with a simple explanation on the facing page makes it easy for them to grasp, and the small size fits perfectly in their hands for bedtime reading.

We read this one at bedtime with my six-year-old and she's already asking for specific psalms by name. The short verses keep her attention, which is rare for a prayer book at her age.

The illustrations on every page kept my four-year-old pointing and naming things while I read the psalm aloud. It's a slim picture book, so we get through two or three psalms before bedtime without losing her attention.
