Het Wonderbaarlijke Verhaal van Sint Vincentius a Paulo

I've been reading this to my godson, and the way the book weaves the saint's charity work with the illustrations makes it easy for him to follow along. The chapters on his missions to the poor really stick with you.

The illustrations really bring the stories to life for younger readers, and the narration stays engaging for adults too. I picked it up for our family's evening prayer time, and it’s already become a favorite. The binding feels sturdy enough to survive many re-reads.

I’ve been reading this to my kids at night, and the blend of history and faith really holds their attention. The chapters on his work with the poor are especially moving, and the language is clear enough for younger readers to follow.
