This beautiful piece is a Devotion of the Virgin de Coromoto. This Virgin made appearance in 1652 to a Native in Venezuela named Coromoto. 

This statue of  Our Lady of Coromoto is made in Colombia, South America. The statue has been beautifully hand painted by the Widows of Colombian Violence.
