Este pequeño Ritual pretende ayudar a los Ministros Extraordinarios de la Comunión en su función eclesial de llevar la Comunión a los enfermos y envejecientes. Hemos presentado, a la vez, una forma sencilla para que los envejecientes y enfermos oren, recen y y espiritualmente "comulguen", cuando no puedan recibir la comunión sacramental a diario. Se preocupa por ofrecer, también, algunas celebraciones de la Palabra de Dios previas a la distribución de la Eucaristía, cuando el sacerdote no está presente. En fin, este libro pretende ser un manual de oraciones para acompañar a los "designados" en su función de este Ministerio Extraordinario que responde a la necesidad sentida de ayudar a los enfermos y envejecientes a recibir la Comunión.
