The candles fit the holders snugly and the rose one is a pretty contrast against the three purple. We lit the first purple candle on the first Sunday and it burned evenly for the whole evening.

I love that it comes with exactly the 3 purple and 1 rose candles, so I didn't have to hunt down the right count myself. The candle holders feel sturdy enough to hold up through all four weeks. Setting it on the dinner table each Sunday has become my favorite part of Advent.
