聖方濟各亞西西

The simple language and short chapters made it easy for my first grader to follow along with Saint Francis's story. We especially liked the illustrations of him preaching to the birds.

My kids actually sat still through the whole thing, which says a lot, and the St. Joseph Picture Book format makes it easy for them to follow along with the story of Saint Francis. The writing from Father Lovasik is simple but really brings the saint’s love for animals and nature to life.

The illustrations are so warm and inviting, and the text is perfectly sized for my six-year-old to follow along. We've read it three times this week already, and it's sparked some really sweet questions about how we can care for animals and nature.
