My kids understood Mother Teresa’s story right away thanks to the clear chapters and soft illustrations. This little book made her kindness feel real to them.

I read this aloud to my 8-year-old nephew and he asked if we could pray like Mother Teresa did. The language is clear enough for children to grasp but still respectful to her legacy. It's a solid little book for teaching about service.

The simple language makes this biography perfect for my 8-year-old's First Communion gift, though I wish it included a photo or two of her work with the poor. Still, a solid introduction to her life.
