سان فرانسيسكو دي ساليس، قديس اللطف

The way the book weaves Saint Jane Frances de Chantal’s firsthand perspective into the narrative makes Francis de Sales feel incredibly real and approachable. I’ve found myself rereading passages about his gentle approach to spiritual direction.

The narration by Santa Juana de Chantal gives it such a personal feel, like hearing the story straight from someone who knew him. I also appreciated how the book digs into his patience with difficult people, which made his kindness feel practical, not just legendary.

I loved how the book weaves Saint Francis de Sales’ story through the eyes of Saint Jane de Chantal—it makes his kindness feel so personal. The writing by P. Eliécer Salesman is clear and warm, perfect for a quiet evening read.
