الوصايا العشر

The bold, full-page illustrations kept my little ones engaged while I read about each commandment aloud. It’s part of the St. Joseph Picture Book Series, and the simple wording made the lessons stick for ages 4 to 7. We’ve already read it three nights in a row.

My 6-year-old actually asks to read this one at bedtime, which never happens with religious books. The commandments are broken into short, simple explanations she can follow, and the pictures give us something to point at while we talk.

The illustrations are simple enough that my 4-year-old follows along while I read each commandment out loud. It's a thin little picture book, so it fits in the diaper bag for Mass.
